Frankfurt: ECB HQ

One of the 606 ft. tall twin towers along the Main —at the former site of the Grossmarkthalle [the wholesale market hall] in the city's Ostend district— topped out in 2012 and inaugurated in 2015, is part of the European Central Bank headquarters.  The earlier headquarters, the Eurotower at Willy-Brandt-Platz in the Innenstadt, is home to an affiliate institution, the Single Supervisory Mechanism.

Barcelona: Façade of former Estació Del Nord
[now Estación Norte de Autobuses]

The 1915 front of the former main train station in Barcelona —long abandoned but eventually given new life as the city's principal bus terminal.

You could arrive at the bus station —whose main entrance is in fact to one side of the building— and completely miss the monumental façade, a blend of Catalan Modernisme and Vienna Secession styles, designed by [Valencia native] architect Demetri Ribes i Marco.  Try not to.
